Black History Week Program - February 5 - 10.
1973 Black History Week will be observed on the West Chester State College campus one week earlier than as scheduled for National programming. On behalf of the College Task Force on Black Culture, faculty and students are encouraged to devote some class time to the observance of this special week. Of special note is the daily scheduling of the close circuit televesied Black History Week programs of Channel 4 which will be shown continuously between the hours 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Black History Week Agenda - MONDAY, FEB. 5 - Black Music Coffee House,
Lawrence Center Commuter Lounge from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Free Adm.
TUESDAY, FEB. 6 - Black Literature Coffee House, Lawrence Center Snack Bar from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Free Adm.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 7 - Fashion Show, Swope Hall Auditorium, 9:00 p.m. Free Admn.
THURSDAY, FEB. 8 and FRIDAY, FEB. 9 - Black Play "Purlie Victorious" at Philips Memorial Auditorium, certain time 8:00 p.m. Admission $1.00 for WCSC students and $2.50 for guests.
SATURDAY, FEB. 10 - Dance, Ehinger Gym 9:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m., Admission $1.00. Band - Black Golde LPD.
